Array Services We Offer
The CAT performs probe labeling for RNA Expression and DNA Genotyping samples and hybridization, staining, washing, and scanning of the arrays as well as feature extraction from raw array image data. Researchers are responsible for sample preparation. We provide an RNA quality control service, as the most frequent cause of failure in an array experiment is poor quality RNA. Who We Are
The Center for Array Technologies Recharge Center is a fee-for-service facility. As a service to the UW research community, the CAT provides access to oligo based DNA array technology for three major commercial array platforms: Affymetrix, Agilent, and Illumina. As microarray technology has advanced we have expanded our services beyond expression analysis.
